As a follow-up to the Facility Tour of Mobolaji Johnson Train Station about two weeks ago, The President, Mr Segun Adebayo today, led other Council Members IFMA, Nigeria Chapter on a courtesy visit to the Management of Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) at Railway Compound, Ebute Metta.

In attendance was the NRC Managing Director, Engr. Fidet Okhira and other top management staff of the Corporation.

Our conversations further reinforced the collective resolve of both institutions in ensuring effective and sustainable management of the facilities of the Corporation.

We will also be exploring the opportunity of capacity building and knowledge development across different cadre in the Corporation.

The engagement also committed to exploring the possibility of developing a “fit for purpose” Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Corporation.

This is yet another feat in line with our renewed purpose of collaborating with strategic public organisations like Nigeria Railway Corporation.

As the leading Association in the built environment, we will continue to work towards changing the narratives and raise the bar in the Facility Management space.
