IFMA Nigeria Chapter on a facility tour to the Lagos Central Mosque

AS part of the mission of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Nigeria Chapter to enhance and improve the knowledge of its members by going on field trips (Facility Tour), has led the Association on a facility tour to one of the heritage buildings in Lagos, the Lagos Central Mosque; on the 08 of March, 2022.

The Lagos Central Mosque was built and commissioned in March, 1988. It has the capacity to accommodate 10,000 worshippers at a time.

The President of IFMA Nigeria Mr. Segun Adebayo, other Council members and members present for the facility tour were personally welcomed by the Chief Imam of the great mosque, Sheikh Sulaimon Oluwatoyin Abu-Nolla and other member of his cabinet.

The Chief Imam expressed his pleasure about IFMA Nigeria coming to tour the holy place of worship.

With the monumental demand and requirements to keep an edifice of such magnitude maintained is not easy; the Council and members could identify with the challenges and therefore offered Pro-Bono training of the maintenance staff of the mosque.
